The Rival Kit Story

Founded in 2017, Rival Kit was created to address long-standing frustrations with the sports clothing industry—many of which still affect teams and athletes today. Based in Loch Lomond, Scotland, but shipping low cost international, we are led by a management team with more than 50 years of international business and management experience. We combine operational discipline, strong supplier relationships and a customer-first approach to deliver a first-class service to sports clubs, schools, universities and athletes.

Rival Kit offers a better alternative to the traditional model of bulk orders placed at fixed points throughout the year. We provide high-quality, performance-focused sports clothing backed by responsive, dependable customer service. From the initial idea and design proposal through to manufacture and delivery, we make every stage of the experience straightforward, flexible and efficient.

We work closely with each club to create custom kit that reflects its identity, colours and ambitions. Our team provides practical design support from the first concept to final approval, helping turn ideas into high-quality garments that perform when it matters. Designs can be reviewed and refined throughout the process, ensuring every detail is right before production begins.

We are committed to continual improvement. We develop and test our technical garments in real sporting conditions—on and off the water, on and off the field, and in all weather conditions. We are also actively pursuing more sustainable manufacturing and distribution options, recognising our responsibility to reduce the environmental impact of our products and operations.

A Better Way to Order Team Wear

At the heart of the Rival Kit model is a dedicated online club storefront for every team or organisation. Once a club’s range has been agreed, members can order approved kit directly through their club store whenever they need it, shipped directly to them.

There are no fixed order windows, no need for a kit secretary to collect payments or coordinate bulk orders, and no minimum order requirement for individual club members.

This gives clubs greater control while significantly reducing administration. It also gives every member a simple, reliable way to access approved team wear, without waiting for a bulk order before receiving essential kit.
